Several County Offices To Remain Open During Five Day Furlough

Sonora, CA — According to Tuolumne County Clerk and Auditor-Controller Debi Russell, her office along with the Recorder´s Office will be open on a limited basis during the five day county furlough period.

On the dates of December 26, 29, 30, 31 and January 2, Russell´s office will be open from 9am until 1pm in the County Administration Building at 2 S. Green St. The same is true for the Recorder´s Office.

Russell notes that while services will be limited during this time period marriage licenses, for example, will be available. The Recorder´s Office will be open for recording of real property documents and filing and issuing birth, death and marriage certified copies.

Russell suggests that should you have business that demands more detailed attention, you should plan on visiting her office prior to the start of the county wide furlough no later than tomorrw.
