Light Hail And Rainfall Lead To Difficult Driving Conditions

Sonora, Ca — Some light hail mixed with rainfall has caused some headaches for drivers around the Sonora area this afternoon.
Within a span of 22 minutes, three separate accidents were reported to the Highway Patrol.
At 3:38pm, a vehicle spun out on Highway 49, just south of Mormon Creek Road.
A two vehicle accident was reported at 3:45pm at Highway 108 and Stockton Rd.
The third accident involved four vehicles and was reported at 3:50pm at Highway 108 and Hess Avenue.
Travel with caution in those areas, as law enforcement has been dispatched to the scene.
