Calaveras Board Meets Tuesday

San Andreas, CA — The Calaveras County Board of Supervisors meets Tuesday and on the agenda are a few items of note.

The first is an agreement with Caltrans for construction of a left turn pocket on Highway 26 at Warren Road in Burson.

Next is a resolution designating February 27 as Spay Day USA in Calaveras County.

Also the board will consider placing a plaque by the Matuca Chapter of the E. Clampus Vitus commemorating the Hospital Cemetery as a historical point of interest.

The board will also take action on the Voluntary Oak Management Plan. A study session on the plan was held last month. It would offer voluntary protection guidelines for oak conservation planning and use of oak woodland habitats in Calaveras County.
