Calaveras Meth Enforcement Team Busts Lockeford Man
Wallace, CA — The newly formed team to combat methamphetamine in Calaveras County has successfully arrested a Lockeford man for possession of the controlled substance.
Members from the California Multi-Jurisdictional Methamphetamine Enforcement Team served a search warrant on a storage shed at the Wallace Mini Storage Friday.
The owner of the shed, Walter McQueen, was starting to drive away when he was contacted by investigators.
A search of McQueen´s vehicle revealed 2.5 grams of methamphetamine. The 59-year old Lockeford man was arrested for possession and transportation of the controlled substance.
The suspect was released from Calaveras County jail after posting $60,000 bail.
