Motorcyclist Released From Hospital Following Collision With Deer

Mokelumne Hill, Ca — 53 year old John Roe of Mountain Ranch has been released from Sutter-Amador Hospital with minor injuries after hitting a deer with his motorcycle.
The accident occurred at 5:40am, while he was traveling north on Hwy 49 near Mokelumne Hill. According to the CHP, Roe was driving approximately 45 mph when the deer ran out. For a short period, law enforcement was forced to temporarily close down the road in order to clean up the debris.
