Board Expresses Sentiment For Departing CAO

San Andreas, CA — The Board of Supervisors was saddened upon hearing the news that County Administrative Officer Tom Mitchell is leaving.
Mitchell announced Friday he will leave in October after filling his five-year commitment to the county.
After Tuesday´s board meeting, long time Supervisors Merita Callaway and Tom Tryon spoke to the issue.
Callaway says Mitchell has saved the county thousands of dollars and has been very committed to the county. She noted she was disappointed after reading about his departure in the newspaper.
Tryon echoed Callaway´s comments saying Mitchell has been a positive contribution to the county.
