Health Officials Urge Flu Prevention Steps

San Andreas, CA — State health officials are reporting that influenza has become widespread in California based on increases in medical visits for flu like illness and increases in laboratory detections of the flu virus.
Health officials urge residents to follow several flu prevention steps such as washing hands often with plenty of soap and water, eating healthy foods and staying physically active, getting plenty of rest, staying home from work if you get sick, and keeping sick children home from school.
