San Andreas Officials Balk at Increasing Sewer Fees

San Andreas, CA — Developers wanting to hook up into San Andreas´ sewer pipes have a few more months before a planned fee increase.
The San Andreas Sanitary District board met Wednesday to consider increasing hook up fees from $4,500 to $10,000.
The board put off the vote until after a master plan is finished sometime in July or August. The plan will look at future growth in the area to decide what infrastructure is needed. A new fee will be set based on the plan.
The district has 850 customers in the San Andreas area.
