Domestic Abuse At Homeless Camp Causes Broken Jaw

Sonora, CA — A transient is facing several charges after a domestic abuse incident Thursday morning.
The Sonora Police Department says officers were called to Tuolumne General Hospital at 8:30am to talk to an assault victim.
The woman told officers she was assaulted at a homeless camp in Sonora. Reports indicate she was being treated for several injuries including a broken jaw.
The victim identified her assailant as Grady Pinkevich. Officers from the Sonora Police Department contacted the man at his camp site and took him into custody. The investigation is ongoing.
