Bird Flu Movie Invites Controversy

Sacramento, CA — A made-for-television movie about bird flu will air a disclaimer.
The California Poultry Federation complained that the film would cause a panic. ABC will air the movie entitled “Fatal Contact; Bird Flu In America” next Tuesday.
The disclaimer will tell viewers the movie is a work of fiction and will give facts about avian influenza.
