Democratic Candidates For Governor Face Off In Final Debate

Sacramento, CA — The top Democrats in the governor´s race, state Treasurer Phil Angelides and state Controller Steve Westly, square off Wednesday night in their last debate before the June 6th primary.
The hourlong debate will provided the candidates with an opportunity to make an impression in the heavily Democratic San Francisco Bay area. Polls show that about half the voters have yet to make up their minds, so the race is highly fluid.
The debate format calls for a panel of journalists to question the two men at CBS 5-TV, which plans to broadcasting the debate live.
