Calaveras Election Details

San Andreas, CA — Tuesday is the Gubernatorial Primary Election. Polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.

In Calaveras County, two supervisors are seeking re-election. In District 3 Supervisor Merita Callaway is up against Travis Lauterbach and Jake Wallace. And in District 5 Supervisor Victoria Erickson will run against Russell Thomas and Michael McDaniel.

Also up for re-election but running unopposed are the county sheriff, assessor, auditor-controller, clerk-recorder, coroner, district attorney, and treasurer-tax collector.

Statewide offices to be decided include governor, lieutenant governor, secretary of state, controller, treasurer, and attorney general.

The Angels Camp City Council will not meet at the Angels Fire House on Highway 4 Tuesday since that will be a polling place. Instead, the council will meet at the office of the Utica Power Authority on Booster Way.
