Jamestown HOG’s Raise Money For Muscular Dystrophy
Jamestown, CA –Those battling Muscular Dystrophy are delighted to have the Jamestown HOG´s on their side.
Saturday marked the sixth annual “Run to the Pines”, an event where participants ride from Jamestown´s Harley Davidson location to Dardanelles resort. Organizer Steve Haskill says that thanks to the extra planning this year, the event managed to pull in more participants than last year.
He says they usually raise $10,000 to $12,000 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. During the hot Highway 108 ride, participants competed in a poker game that consisted of three stops, where they were given an opportunity to try and get the best hand.
The rider with the best hand received $100.00. At the resort, riders enjoyed a Hawaiian style BBQ meal, live entertainment, raffles and games.
