It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dan Flores, who suddenly left us on April 11, 2026.
Dan was born on January 27, 1954, in Sonora, California. He was 72. He spent much of his first 40 years of his adult life in Tuolumne before moving to Galt in his late 40s, where he lived for many years. He shared a home with his mother, Joyce, until her passing, and had been living independently for the past five years.
Dan found joy in the simple things, especially riding his e-bike around town, a pastime that brought him both peace and connection to the community he called home. And he loved the Tuolumne Jubilee although unable to attend the last few years.
Dan will be remembered for his gentle presence and the quiet way he moved through life.
Private graveside service will be followed with a party in the Tuolumne Memorial Park amphitheater, located next to the baseball park down town, at 4PM.
