Mark Daniel Moreland, 57, of Sonora, California, passed away on May 17, 2026 surrounded by loved ones.
Born on February 22, 1969 in Northridge, California and raised in Bakersfield, Mark was the beloved child of Dan and Rita Moreland. Throughout his life, he was known for his love of motocross, surfing, football, soccer, and baseball.
Mark dedicated his career to remodeling kitchens and bathrooms and specialized in granite and marble countertops. He most enjoyed the time he spent as an evangelist bringing others to God in Bakersfield and abroad.
Mark is survived by his sons Kelsey, Kaden and Kody; his grandchildren John and Reagan; his father Dan Moreland; his brothers Larry and Gordon; his sister Jamie and his biological brother Matt Brown.
A Celebration of Life will be held on June 28th at Discover Life SDA Church, 40 North Forest Rd, Sonora, California.
Mark was dearly loved by many in his community and family and will be missed greatly.
