Rhoda J. Newkirk, a resident of Sonora, passed away on Tuesday, February 26, at Country Villa in Merced. Visitation will take place from 9 AM to 12 PM on Friday, February 29, at Heuton Memorial Chapel. There will be a Graveside Service on Saturday, March 1, 3 PM at Lakewood Memorial Park in Hughson. Donations may be made to VNA/Hospice of the Sierra, P.O. Box 4805, Sonora, CA 95370. Heuton Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.
