The man accused of kidnapping and killing five-year-old Samantha Runnion could be facing a new charges, from one of two girls he was previously acquitted of molesting. The Riverside County Sheriff´s Department says they are interviewing the girl and other potential witnesses to see if there´s enough evidence to bring a new case against Alejandro Avila. The 27-year-old is scheduled to be arraigned this morning in Orange County Superior Court on charges that he raped and killed Samantha, after allegedly kidnapping her from her Stanton home last month. Prosecutors say that they will seek the death penalty for Avila. A Riverside County jury acquitted Avila last year of molesting two nine-year-old cousins. One of the girls is the daughter of his former a girlfriend, who had lived in the same Stanton townhome complex as Samantha.
