David F. Hauschildt, of Sonora, entered into the arms of his Savior on September 21, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on April 23, 1962, David lived a life full of faith, generosity, and joy.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Heather; his children, Jasey, Laram, Katrina, Josh, and Brent; and his cherished grandchildren, Gabe, Alyssa, Evelyn, Kayson, and Erik.
David had a deep love for animals—especially his goats and Lily, his beloved donkey. He found peace and joy in the outdoors, whether mountain biking, snowboarding, fishing, or simply enjoying God’s creation. A gifted craftsman, David could build and repair anything, always lending his skills to help others without hesitation.

Through his ministry, his Sunday school teaching, and his unwavering generosity, he touched countless lives. He especially treasured the children he mentored, pouring his heart into guiding them with kindness and joy.
David will be remembered for his selfless heart, his boundless energy, and his unwavering devotion to family, friends, and faith. His legacy lives on in the lives he shaped, the love he gave, and the example he set.
