Paige Warne deserves KKBN’s High School Student Athlete of the Week for being an all-around amazing athlete whether it be soccer, softball flag football, or wrestling.
On the Sonora high girls wrestling team, Warne qualified to go to masters last year. She also wrestled at the Reno Worlds with a third place win in that national competition. Her grandma, Lori Warne, describes the win as a “pretty big accomplishment for a girl that’s Wrestling way under her weight class and still manages to come out on top, all while keeping up on her school work.” Warne also shares, “Grandma loves you to the moon and back.”
