Sheriff Issues Missing Man Update
Sonora, CA — Tuolumne County Sheriff’s officials released more information regarding a Modesto man that has been missing for almost three months after leaving a local casino.
Sheriff’s officials note that 35-year-old Allen Christopher Martin’s disappearance is now one of the listed cases in the Crime Stoppers program, which allows members of the community to provide anonymous information on a crime. Security cameras captured Martin leaving the Chicken Ranch Casino in Jamestown the evening of February 9.
As previously reported, Martin’s family hired a private detective who shared with Clarke Broadcasting additional details from that night. The detective stated that Martin was upset about a custody issue in his family and that those who know him considered it uncharacteristic that he would have left the premises and not return or remain out of touch. Additionally, that Martin had walked outside to “chill out” away from his girlfriend and her mother, who had accompanied him to the casino. Tuolumne County Sheriff’s officials now report his last contact was a text to his girlfriend around that time, stating, “You deserve better than me.”
Martin’s family is offering a $5000 reward for any information regarding his disappearance or whereabouts. Additionally, tipsters can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-866-602-7463 or text a tip to 274637, including TIP704 in your message or email: www.stancrimetips.org.
