Michelle Dean, a local business owner will share her story of faith and persistence to NEVER give up on your dreams! She started her business at the age of 50 and started WHOW in 2013 as a lifelong vision of inspiring, supporting and educating women.
WHOW became a nonprofit in 2018.
WHOW has hosted Coffee Talks for Women, Boss Lady Showcase Events, Ladies Night Out Events, a Paris-themed Soiree in 2017, the Empowering Women Strengthening Communities events in 2018 and 2019.
Kimberly Brodie-Green of Mountain Om Yoga will also share her story as a new mom and business owner. She shares her passion of connecting women with yoga and the great outdoors. Julia Jones of Sierra Bridal and Balloons will be putting together a fabulous FASHION show with local models outfitted by local boutiques. What woman doesn’t love to learn more about fashion!!?
Sonora PD will also be sharing tips on how to avoid FRAUD.
Other Resources will also be available at the event to support and educate women. We will have raffle prizes and some silent auction items to help us raise money to support women in our community.
