Toulumne Historical Railroad Association’s Tuolumne Railroad Weekend is less than three weeks away – time to finalize your plans! The schedule for the weekend is as follows:
West Side Reunion – April 20, 2024, 9:00 – 4:30 pm. www.westsidereunion.com

LAST CALL FOR DISCOUNTED HOTEL ROOMS. There are still discounted rooms available under the block that we arranged with the Black Oak Casino Hotel, the site of all the events during the weekend. However, the hotel definitely will terminate this offer on April 5, 2024. So if you still would like to book a room, now is the time.
Rooms under the block can be reserved for any or all of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights (April 19, 20, and 21, 2024) at a group rate of $169 (plus tax) per night. This represents a substantial discount from the published rate. Deluxe King rooms or Two Queens rooms are available at this rate. To reserve a room, call the hotel at 209-928-9300 and refer to “West Side Reunion” or the booking ID 7880. This rate is NOT available online.
BANQUET TICKETS SELLING FAST. About 75% of the tickets for Saturday evening’s special banquet already have been sold. The banquet will feature an after-dinner presentation by Scott McGhee, General Manager of the Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad. Scott will give us an in-depth look at former West Side Shay locomotives #10 and #15, which are in regular operation on the YMSPRR. He will include information and photos about their history, characteristics, major rebuilds, recent discoveries about their historical paint colors and lettering styles, and ongoing maintenance issues.
While the Banquet is geared especially to West Side Reunion and Sierra Seminar attendees, all are welcome. The Banquet will conclude with a raffle drawing for a grand prize of a “West Side Shay Lover’s Dream Excursion for Four,” which includes two cab rides and two additional first class tickets to ride in the YMSPRR’s newly refurbished caboose, built from WSLCo camp dormitory car #11.
