Welcoming Dr. Shetzline to Angels Camp Family Medical Office

Sonora, CA) – Adventist Health Sonora is pleased to welcome Sandra Shetzline, DO, to Angels Camp Family Medical Office. Dr. Shetzline is board certified in Family Practice and provides primary care for patients of all ages with a focus on preventative health care.

Dr. Shetzline has been providing medical care in Calaveras County since 1999, spending her first 12 years in private practice in Arnold and the last 7 years in Murphys. Prior to moving to California, Dr. Shetzline completed medical school at Rowan University in Stratford, New Jersey, and family practice residency at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center and Kennedy Memorial Hospital, also in New Jersey.

Over two decades, Dr. Shetzline has built her practice through the recommendations of her patients. She enjoys caring for families in a small community and appreciates the confidence her patients have placed in her with their recommendations to family members and friends. “I love my patients and having the opportunity to care for entire families,” says Dr. Shetzline. “I and my staff strive to give people the best care, as though they are family.”

While Dr. Shetzline sees patients of all ages, she has a special interest in caring for our community’s geriatric population and treating and helping prevent the chronic diseases that become more common as we age such as diabetes and hypertension.

Caring for seniors extends beyond her medical practice. Dr. Shetzline’s husband directs the senior center in Murphys and her three children are often involved volunteering. “We feel privileged to be a part of this community,” Dr. Shetzline explains.
