In partnership with the California State Railroad Museum Foundation, Railtown 1897 State Historic Park in Jamestown will present a new season of weekend excursion train rides, starting on April 4-5, 2026. Known as the “Movie Star Locomotive,” the famous Sierra No. 3 will be in operation all weekend running the regular Mother Lode Cannonball schedule with excursion train ride departures for both days at 10:30 a.m., 12 p.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m.
Tickets are sold per person and include park admission. Please select the appropriate quantity of tickets you need for each age range of passengers.
- Adult: $23
- Youth (6-17): $18
- Child (5 and under): Free
- Members: Free or reduced price based on membership
*Note: The Caboose does not have wheelchair or accessible seating options.
