Twain Harte Horsemen is sponsoring a Poker Ride (open to the public) from Leland Meadows Snow Park to Herring Creek Lake on Sunday Oct. 7th from 10AM to 3PM. Cost: $10/horse trailer, $5 for ride only, an additional $5 per poker hand w/ 2 hand limit. Bring your own lunch. The ride from Snow Park to Herring Creek & back is approx. 41/2 hrs. The ride to the lake is very scenic & easy. Shoes or boots are recommended for your horses as portions of trail are rocky. Gates will be open by 8:30AM w/ registration at 9 w/1st group out at 10AM. Bathrooms available.
Directions: Take Hwy 108 four miles past Strawberry store to Leland Meadows Rd & turn rt. Drive to end of road to the snow park & on your rt is a large parking lot where we will all gather.
