We are gearing up for this years Deep Pit Barbecue which is happening August 19th 400pm! (Eproson Baseball Field in Twain Harte) This annual fundraising event is always fun as we roast the beef low and slow in a deep pit all night before the BBQ and that is what makes it so tender. If you haven’t already purchased tickets, give us a call at 209 586 6338, or you can purchase tickets at the door. BBQ Beef, baked beans, salad, rolls and butter. Soft drinks water and dessert are available from Cub Pack 513 at the event as they raise money for their summer camping experience.
We will have raffle prizes, a silent auction and even live music by Agent ! Our local cub scout pack 513 will be selling sodas, waters and dessert and of course, Rotarians will have adult beverages including frozen margaritas! As always we are grateful for our volunteers especially the Boy Scouts troop 500 who help us with the set up and take down!
The proceeds from this event help us support our food for needy families, community needs and at least 10 scholarships for our Summerville High School students.
The price of $40.00 per person has not changed for the past couple of years. We hope to see you there as this is the only fundraiser Rotary does to raise money for Summerville High School Student Scholarships and other community needs. During COVID-19, we gave back $200.00 to every business in Twain Harte. Giving back to the community is what Twain Harte Rotary is all about.
