Dust off your favorite Hawaiian shirt and grab your grass skirts! Bret Harte High School is bringing a taste of the islands to Angels Camp with an Aloha-themed Music Bingo Night. The event will take place on Saturday, February 28, in the school’s multipurpose room.
Music Bingo swaps traditional numbers for snippets of popular songs. When the players hear a track that matches a title on their card, they mark it off. It’s a high-energy, family friendly game that combines name-that-tune skills with the thrill of a classic bingo hall.
The evening promises more than just competitive gaming. Attendees can expect a tropical decorated hall with upbeat music ranging from classic hits to modern favorites, plenty of community spirit, and aloha themed food.
“We wanted to create an event that brings everyone together for a night of pure fun,” says the event coordinating team. “Whether you’re a music buff or just looking for a great night out with neighbors, this tropical getaway is the place to be.”
Prize baskets will be awarded to bingo winners throughout the night. Proceeds from the event will go towards funding the Bret Harte senior trip to Santa Cruz, ensuring that the fun of the night translates into benefiting our soon to be graduated class of 2026.
Tickets will be $50, which includes your entry fee, 10 cards upfront, and food and drink. After this initial purchase, packages of 10 cards can be purchased for $10.
