Get ready for a spine-tingling afternoon of family-friendly fun as Columbia State Historic Park proudly presents Boo

Blvd on Saturday, October 28, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
This exciting event promises a thrilling array of activities and treats, creating a magical Halloween experience for visitors of all ages. Best of all, admission is entirely free!

Trick or Treating Extravaganza (2:00 PM – 4:00 PM)
Bring your little ghouls and goblins to enjoy a delightful session of safe trick-or-treating along the charming streets of Columbia. Participating shops and vendors will be offering candy and goodies, ensuring an enchanting afternoon for children and families.

Spooky Entertainment and Activities (2:00 PM – 6:00 PM)
Boo Blvd isn’t just about candy- it’s about creating unforgettable memories. Prepare to be enchanted by a variety of exciting activities that will keep the whole family engaged:

  • Gargoyle Quest: Embark on a thrilling scavenger hunt as you search for hidden gargoyles, throughout the park. Discover these mysterious creatures and earn a chance to win exciting prizes.
  • Creepy Crafts: Unleash your creativity with a selection of eerie crafts suitable for all ages. From making your own ghost and spiderwebs, there’s a craft for everyone to enjoy.
  • Fish ‘N’ Game: Test your skills at a fun old-fashioned game with a Halloween twist. Win prizes and show off your competitive spirit with game designed to entertain and challenge.
  • Jack O Lantern Contest: Bring your carved pumpkin masterpiece to enter this contest for a chance to win fabulous prizes. Witness the artistically beautiful creations of fellow visitors.
  • Zombie Flash Mob Dance: Be mesmerized by the sights and sounds of the Zombie Flash Mob Dancers from Sonora’s Balance Movement Center. Performances will be at 3:30 p and 4 pm
  • Face Painting: Let you imagination run wild with the talented face painter Jean Morton. All proceeds from her work will be graciously donated to Love & Mercy Kid Horse Rescue.
  • Become your favorite Halloween character with the help of the talented facepainter, Jean Morton to benefit Love & Mercy Kid Horse Rescue. Let your imagination run wild.
  • Costume Parade and Contest: Don your spookiest, funniest, handmade or most creative costume and join the lively costume parade at 5:00 PM. Show off your outfit for a chance to win incredible prizes in 8 various categories.

The Spirit of Halloween will come alive, creating an unforgettable experience for all attendees. Don’t miss out on the chance to be a part of this thrilling celebration of all things spooky!
