The Celtic Faire, located in Angels Camp, is the largest and oldest Celtic Event on the West Coast – Celebrating the Cultures of Brittany, Cornwall, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, Isle of Man, Galicia and Asturias. The event features Concerts, Jousting, Highland Games, Pipe Bands, Celtic Market, whiskey tasting, jugglers and fire eaters, Celtic living history and more…

CONCERTS- 7 stages of non-stop entertainment by Celtic bands like: The Wicked Tinkers, Celtica Nova, Brick Top Blaggers, Golden Bough, Stout Rebellion, Black Irish Band, and so many more. Marching Scottish Bagpipe bands, Celtic dancers, jugglers, magicians, and a fire breathing dragon await the public! Amazing events for every age to enjoy and participate!
MORE TO SEE: Imperial Knights Tournament of Champions, features an exciting medieval tournament with spectacular stunts on horseback, jousting and hand-to-hand combat with a variety of medieval weapons. Experience foot combat all weekend long by many living history groups that create large armored pitched combat between past Celtic Warriors. New this year will be the addition of Scottish Highland Games. Watch top notch athletes throw the caber, war hammer, and stone throw, and relive a once banned sport in Scotland along with a full row of Scottish Clans to join in on the cheer!
FOOD & DRINK: Enjoy the famous Whiskey Tasting Competition or a pint of Guinness while you dine on traditional Celtic foods, as well as delicious foods that most tastes enjoy from around the world.
CELTIC MARKETPLACE: Meet & greet with hundreds of artisans, craftspeople, authors, and sellers of amazing Celtic goods. Purchase a kilt, a box of Scottish Shortbread, a Celtic Flag or sword, you will find what you are looking for Celtic, at an amazing savings and enjoy the designer in person!
2000 YEARS OF CELTIC HISTORY: Watch Scottish Royalty grace the commoners with its presence, hear the infectious and haunting skirl of the bagpipes as they march through the fairgrounds. Learn all about the different clans and societies throughout Scotland, Ireland, Wales, and Cornwall– Hundreds of costume performers will greet the public and demonstrate their time of history
LOCATION: You will almost believe you are in the Scottish Highlands or Ireland, with the backdrop of the soft, green, rolling hills dappled with frolicking horses at the Calaveras Fairgrounds. The event location is magical, and the parking is amazing. Come early to get the very best parking spot. And if it rains, no worries, most of the events will go undercover, including jousting if needed!
MARCH 7th: Friday is an educational day for families and students. No alcohol is served on this day because the focus is on cultural and historical learning. Special low discounted price offered (9:30am- 2:30pm) (free Parking)
