This weekend, over 100 classic car collectors of the French car maker Citroen will arrive, to celebrate our annual Rendez-vous weekend. We expect about 50 vintage Citroen cars to be circulating around our area.
Citroen car club members from as far as New Mexico and Washington state will be here.
Saturday’s the big day. After breakfast, most of the Citroens will take a backroad drive from the Best Western down Old Wards Ferry, and up to Priest Grade. At around 3 p.m. Saturday, we plan for everyone to drive their Citroens to Columbia, where we’ll try to park and take a tour of the town. Our route will be from my home to Campo Seco, to Limekiln crossing 108 onto Washington Street. We will proceed through Downtown Sonora continuing on Parrots Ferry to Columbia.

It would be nice if we could get a mention in mymotherlode.com today or tomorrow, so that folks who are interested could see the “parade” though downtown Washington Street and in Columbia!
