In partnership with the California State Railroad Museum Foundation, Railtown 1897 State Historic Park in Jamestown encourages families to plan a memorable “Day of the Dad” excursion train ride behind the famous Sierra #3 on Fathers Day. The adventurous and fun experience for dad includes a Bear Tent crafted beer (or a non-alcoholic drink) in a commemorative glass and a salty treat to be enjoyed on the deck before departure. A treat in itself, the world famous “Movie Star Locomotive” will pull the special trains with departures at 10:30am, 12 pm, 1:30pm, and 3 pm.
