Bret Harte Drama is proud to present a musical adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s literary classic, Little Women. The show is filled with love, loss, and growth, following the women of Massachusetts’s March Family as they find their places in the world during and after the Civil War.
Little Women will have six performances in the Dr. Elliott A. Smart Performing Arts Center. April 18, 19, 20, 25, and 26 will each have a 7pm show. There will also be a matinee at 2pm on April 20. The student cast, directed by Grover Anderson, will be accompanied by a student-and-volunteer orchestra conducted by BH Music Director David Allured.
The show is suitable for all ages.
The cast consists of Becca Hungerford, Laney Owens, Molly Jane Sampson, Emilie Vialpando, Owen Warner, Lilliana O’Geen, Sophie Smylie, Sarah Cuslidge, Eloise Dodge, Elliot Hungerford, Ayden Iannarelli, Damian Kimber, Joseph Scharli, Abigail Solo, and Shelly Storm. Sampson and O’Geen will alternate performances as the lead, Jo March.
Tickets will be available at the box office, which opens an hour before curtains and accepts cash and card. General admission is $10, students and seniors are $5.
Little Women is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI).
