2025 marks the 76h year of Mental Health Month. During May, Tuolumne County Behavioral Health (TCBH) participates in Mental Health Month by informing community members about the importance of mental healthcare through social and local media, hosting or collaborating with local organizations in community events, and providing training to build awareness and reduce stigma around mental illness. TCBH will promote mental health awareness by displaying lime green décor and ribbons at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at the Courthouse Park in downtown Sonora.
TCBH will host its Annual Mental Health Awareness Event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, May 30, 2025, at the Tuolumne County Enrichment Center, 101 Hospital Road, in Sonora. There will be a free barbecue, raffle prizes, games and activities. For more information, call (209) 533-7114.
