The 2023 Mother Lode Fair Market Beef Preweigh has been scheduled for Saturday, February 25th, at Gardella’s Ranch in Jamestown. Junior Livestock Exhibitors wishing to show and sell at the 2023 Fair must attend this mandatory event. Exhibitors need to send an email to livestock@mlfair.com no later than February 14th to request to be placed on the appointment schedule. The schedule will be released on February 15th, posted under the Livestock tab on the website as well as on Facebook. Independent Exhibitors with market beef are required to turn in their independent paperwork at the preweigh.
Exhibitors must be present and will be expected to handle their own animals. Exceptions must be requested in writing and have pre-approval before the preweigh. Request exceptions by writing to the Mother Lode Fair CEO, 220 Southgate Drive, Sonora, CA 95370 or ceo@mlfair.com. (Exceptions are for the exhibitor only; the project animal must still come to preweigh.)
