Winter brings challenges for those without adequate shelter and clothing. The “Stuff the Bus” project gives our community the opportunity to support people in need by providing the necessities required for comfort and survival.
How does it work? A bus will park in front of the Sonora Wal-Mart on Saturday, December 23rd from 9 AM to 4 PM. Volunteers will handout a list of needed items to anyone interested in participating. After shopping, people can drop off their contributions for storage in the bus. Distribution of donated items with happen with the assistance of the Jamestown Family Resource Center at local parks and other identified locations.
As we celebrate this holiday season, let’s work together to ensure a safe and happy holiday for everyone.
