Railtown 1897 State Historic Park proudly presents Tales of the Roundhouse, a lantern-lit evening of true railroad tragedies and haunting tales, with tours beginning at 6:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. September 25 and 26.
Led by engaging guides through the park and its historic shop buildings after dark, guests may hear the true stories of railroad workers and passengers whose lives ended in ghastly accidents, gruesome train wrecks, and even cold-blooded murder.
The evening continues with a nighttime train ride behind a historic locomotive, accompanied by intriguing railroad ghost stories, superstitions, and lore.
Due to the mature content and length of the program, this event is recommended for guests ages 12 and older. Participants should be prepared to navigate historic walkways that are uneven and dimly lit.
Please arrive 15 minutes early for check-in.
