On Smurfette’s (Katy Perry) birthday it is revealted that she was actually created by Gargamel (Hank Azaria). Gargamel plans to power up a host of Naughties, Smurf-sized creatures he’s created, to help him take over the world with magical Smurf essence that Papa Smurf (Jonathan Winters) protects. Gargamel sends his daughter Vexy (Christina Ricci) to drag Smurfette through a magic portal and into the real world. Papa Smurf’s recque team consisting of Grouchy (George Lopez), Clumsy (Anton Yelchin) and Vanity (John Oliver) also go into to the live-action world of Paris and are helped by the family of Patrick (Neil Patrick Harris) and Grace (Jayma Mays) Winslow.
