Set backstage at three iconic product launches and ending in 1998 with the unveiling of the iMac, view the digital revolution as sculpted by the brilliant, harsh man at its epicenter, Steve Jobs. Supporting characters include his long-suffering mediator, Joanna Hoffman (Kate Winslet), who tries to manage his moods and demands while urging him to treat those around him fairly and Steve “Woz” Wozniak (Seth Rogen) the friendly, long-suffering Apple co-founder and programming genius who knows he deserves more credit than Jobs has given him over the years.
“An enthralling performance by Michael Fassbender fuels this brilliant, infuriating and richly unconventional take on the life of an American visionary.” -Justin Chang –Variety
“This Universal release (limited release October 9th) is clearly positioned as one of the prestige titles of the fall season, and will be high priority viewing for discerning audiences around the world.” -Todd McCarthy –The Hollywood Reporter
