Devilishly Simple Crab Spread

This is a very quick and easy appetizer idea for those impromptu party invitations with just a few easy ingredients that most of us keep on-hand,easy preparation, and no cooking time, the only problem you will have is making enough to keep everyone from fighting over it.

| 8 | oz | block cream cheese, softened |
| 8 | oz | Crab, (use either canned lump crab or Imitation crab) |
| ¼ | tsp | lemon juice |
| ¼ | tsp | chipotle hot sauce |
| 1 | clove | garlic, finely crushed |
| ¼ | tsp | white pepper |
| salt and pepper to taste |
To prepare:
Beat the cream cheese with a fork in a medium bowl until smooth and thoroughly softened. Next, mix in the hot sauce, lemon juice, garlic, and white pepper to combine. Add in the crab or imitation crab and mix well being careful not to over mix and lose the texture of the crab meat. Cover tightly and refrigerate at least 1 hour to chill and let the flavors combine. Serve on slices of french bread or on crackers or as part of a cheese board presentation.
