Original post at 14:14 p.m.: Valley Springs, CA — Â Air and ground resources are working a vegetation fire, named the Blake Fire, in the 2400 block of Silver Rapids Road north of Highway 26 in Calaveras County.
CAL Fire reports the flames broke out in the grass, and the fire is estimated at one acre and moving at a slow rate of spread. There are no details on whether any structures are threatened at this time. An update will be provided as soon as new information comes into the newsroom.
