Tuesday storm power outages
Update at 12:28 pm: Some additional traffic hazards are being reported across the region. The CHP reports that a vehicle is stuck in the snow in the 22000 block of Black Oak Drive in Twain Harte.
Some phone lines are in the roadway along Broadhurst Drive near Sierra Pines Drive in Twain Harte.
Also, county officials are investigating a reported sinkhole impacting a lane of traffic along Italian Bar Road just under two miles outside of Columbia.
Update at 12:12 pm: PGE reports that 5,389 customers are now without power in a widespread area impacting parts of Vallecito, Forest Meadows, and Arnold. There is no current estimated restoration time due.
Update at 9:30 am: In addition to the earlier power outages, there are now 166 customers without electricity in the Tuolumne area due to two separate incidents. Those impacted are along North Tuolumne Road, Knox Road, Slope Lane, Confluence Road and Mt. Provo Road. There is no estimated restoration time.
Update at 7:15 am: A majority of the people who lost electricity in the Arnold area have now been restored. However, PG&E says there are still 30 customers impacted. Full restoration is anticipated by 1 pm.
Original story posted at 6:14 am: Sonora, CA — There are some power outages scattered around the Mother Lode.
PG&E reports that 246 customers near Arnold lost power shortly after midnight when a tree fell into a power line. It is in the vicinity of Pine Knoll Drive. The hope is to have everyone restored sometime early this morning.
In Tuolumne County, in the area between Big Hill and Cedar Ridge, 45 customers lost power after a tree hit a power line at around 11 o’clock on Monday evening. It is along Charles Otter Drive. The goal is to have full restoration there by 3:30 pm.
