Tuolumne County, CA — There was a 1.5-acre fire that ignited on Wednesday night in the area of Wards Ferry Road and Powell Ranch Road.
It was called the Ward Fire. It was located late in the 10 o’clock hour, and several fire resources responded. The forward progress was stopped in about an hour. The cause is under investigation. Mop-up continued into the early morning hours. No structures were damaged.
