Wallace, CA — Firefighters quickly stopped a quarter-acre fire in the 200 block of Oak View Court in the Wallace area of Calaveras County.
The Sage Fire was located during the six o’clock hour this morning and was burning in grassland. There were structures nearby, but no damage was reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. Several surrounding agencies responded to the incident. Mop-up has been ongoing.
