Original post at 7:42 p.m.:Jamestown, CA– Fire resources are on the scene of a vegetation fire near Bostwick Road and Rimrock Road in Jamestown. The fire has been named the O’Neill Fire, and it is reportedly burning at a moderate rate of spread and is approximately 3 acres in size. Evacuation orders have been issued for Rimrock Road, Mormon Creek Road, and Rawhide Road from Rimrock to Highway 49. Tuolumne County Sheriff’s reminds residents that if they feel unsafe, to leave immediately and not wait for evacuation orders. Additionally, motorists are advised to avoid the area.
