Tuolumne, CA — During the nine o’clock hour on Sunday evening, four small vegetation fires ignited in the Stanislaus National Forest, outside of Tuolumne City.
The US Forest Service reports that they were all “under one acre” and located near Forest Road 1N01 (just past the bridge after Buchanan Road).
Forest Service Engine 322 is still on scene this morning, along with a Type II Hand Crew from the Sequoia National Forest to “secure the containment line and mop up the fires.”
The Forest Service reports that the fires were “human-caused,” and no additional information is immediately available.
No infrastructure is threatened.
