Wallets Open For The Interfaith Cash Drive
Sonora, CA — $10,250 was raised during day one of Clarke Broadcasting’s Santa-Fly-In Cash Drive For Interfaith.
It is a chance to raise money for a good cause. This morning, members of the community called in and pledged donations during the Star 92.7, 93.5 KKBN and KVML AM 1450 morning shows. All proceeds raised will go to Interfaith Social Services. The goal of the two-day cash drive is $25,000.
Tune into Star 92.7, 93.5 KKBN and KVML AM 1450 for day two of the Cash Drive Friday morning from 6-10am. Please plan to drop off your coats this Friday at the old Wright’s Tire location at the corner of Restano Way and Mono Way from 9am-2pm. Look for the Clarke Broadcasting Van in the parking lot. Any size coat is appreciated!
One hundred percent of all donations go to Interfaith Social Services to help Tuolumne County families in need. The first three years of this event the community donated over $70,000 cash and more than 5,000 coats. The donations helped them meet local needs for many months.
