Search Ends For Missing Woman

Columbia, CA — A body was found in the Columbia area this morning.
It was in the general vicinity of where 63-year-old Kathy Fiore went missing this past Monday. She had been staying at her sister’s home on Sawmill Flat Road. A positive identification is still pending, but law enforcement has ended its search for Fiore. The cause of death is under investigation, but officials have no reason to believe there was any foul play involved.
Fiore grew up in Tuolumne County, but she moved to Southern California several years ago in order to be closer to her daughter.
