Update: Vegetation Fire In Tuolumne County Contained

Update at 3:45 p.m.: A five to six acre grass fire in the Keystone area of Tuolumne County has been contained. CAL Fire notes that Columbia aircraft have been called off the scene along with all incoming resources. The flames broke out in the 11000 block of Rock River Road near Green Springs Road off Highway 108 and J-59/La Grange Road. CAL Fire details that crews will remain on scene mopping up for a couple of hours and what sparked the blaze is under investigation.

Update at 3:30 p.m.: CAL Fire reports the grass fire on the 11000 block of Rock River Road near Green Springs Road off J-59/La Grange Road in the keystone area is five to six acres with a moderate rate of spread. Dispatch notes that there are windy conditions and Columbia aircraft have been called to the scene.

Original post at 3:15 p.m.: Keystone, CA — Firefighters are heading to a report of a vegetation fire in Tuolumne County.

CAL Fire indicates a caller reported flames in some grass in the 11000 block of Rock River Road near Green Springs Road off J-59/La Grange Road in the keystone area. There is no word as to whether any structures are threatened at this time.
