Jamestown Duplex Fire
Jamestown, CA — A duplex caught fire early yesterday morning in Jamestown.
The fire was at 10710 7th Street. It started at 3:30am and was knocked down by 4:30am. CAL Fire Battalion Chief Barry Rudolph says it caused $200,000 damage, $175,000 to the structure and $25,000 to the contents. The cause is under investigation. No injuries were reported. The Red Cross has been assisting displaced residents.
Responding were three Tuolumne County Fire Department engines, a Tuolumne County water tender, five CAL Fire engines, a Columbia College engine and breathing support, a Sonora City engine, two Tuolumne City engines and Tuolumne County Prevention.
