Parsons, Evelyn
Evelyn L. Parsons (Boze) was born on December 6th, 1930 in San Francisco, California. Evelyn passed away
peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones on October 8th, 2024.
A lifelong member of Soroptimist International, avid knitter and seamstress. Evelyn loved her family and was a devout Catholic. Evelyn married the love of her life Walter Eugene Parsons, Jr on August 29th, 1954. He preceded her in
death on May 9, 2014.
Evelyn is survived by her son, Kevin Parsons and his wife Barbara of Waterford, California and their daughter, Theresa Blackman of Sonora, California. Five grandchildren: Nic Badger of Santa Cruz, California, Chris Badger of Santa Rosa, California, Breanne Hamm of Bethlehem, North Carolina, Heather Smith and husband Stacy of Sonora, California, Bridgette Parsons of Lakewood, Washington.
Nine great grandchildren: Dillon McBride, Hannah and Rebecca Blackman, Cassidy, Jordan and Jon Hamm, Alyssa, Caleb and Kyle Badger along with numerous beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Evelyn was preceded in death by her daughter Mary Frances Parsons, her parents Manuel and Emily Silva, brother “Mr. Ed” Boze, sister Jeanne Bickford, twin siblings Frank and Frances Boze, sisters Christine Macpherson and Carrie Cole.
